Job Details

The Clinical Information System Analyst participates significantly in the analysis, design, build, maintenance and documentation of AHC's clinical information systems focusing on the continuous improvement of processes.

Work Schedule:

Cerner Clinical Build Analyst
• Demonstrates strong functional and build knowledge of one of the following Cerner applications:
○ PowerChart
○ FirstNet
○ SurgiNet
○ Dyndoc
○ PowerNote
○ PowerChart Maternity
○ Care Manager
○ Care Compass
○ ESH
○ Powerforms
○ iView
○ DCPtools
○ Content Manager
○ Discern Rules
• Serves as a contributing member of the clinical applications team, dedicated to the development of electronic documentation solutions that support clinical workflow and practice and align with the current best practice standards
• Ability to recommend customization of the application for unique department scenarios and build using application tools with minimal assistance from team members and/or the application manager.
• Designs, builds, and tests clinical application components and makes necessary changes using build tools with little direction and assistance from team members or the application manager.
• Communicates necessary changes made in the application amongst team members and site contacts as appropriate
• Develops and maintains system design documentation and outlines build steps using appropriate tools with some direction and assistance from team members or the application manager.
• CCL skills a plus
