Job Description:

The Student Data and Continuous Improvement Coach provides leadership, training, and coaching support to

instructional staff and administrators on the development and implementation of education plans for schools, student interventions, offices, and individual students (lAPs). Assist schools and office in developing systems for continuous improvement: data analysis, plan development and implementation, and progress monitoring.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's degree preferred.
  • Certificates & Licenses: Valid Virginia Department of Education license required, or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Experience: Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required.

Essential Functions:
  • Provides training, technical assistance and support to schools in all aspects of student interventions (RtI, SST, lAP/ICAPs, etc.), including the implementation oftiered interventions, positive behavioral supports, universal screening, and progress monitoring.
  • Provides training, technical assistance and coaching support to schools in all aspects of school continuous improvement processes of data analysis, plan development, and implementation monitoring (SEP, PDSA, etc.)
  • Provide training, technical assistance and coaching support to schools in the analysis of data related to student achievement; development of goals, objectives, and measures for SEP, PLP, and lAPs.
  • Alignment and coordination of school improvement efforts through DEPs, SEPs, PLPs, lAP/ICAPs, and classroom based continuous improvement processes.
  • Represents the school division with local, state, and federal agencies in matters related to continuous improvement within schools and interventions for students.
  • Coordinates division level planning and coordination teams for education plans for continuous improvement, RtI and SST systems, and lAP/ICAP.
  • Oversees the collection, analysis, and interpretation of evaluation data on the implementation of an RtIlSST/student intervention framework in ACPS and provide recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Coordinates development and implementation of a school based and classroom based continuous improvement model through the use of Plan-Do-Study-Act and other improvement tools.
  • Coordinate efforts of central office staff in supporting the continuous improvement efforts of PDSA, RtI, SST, SEP, lAP/ICAP, and other similar systems.
  • Coordinate the continued implementation and refinement of a student intervention systems including supporting documents, materials, and professional learning.
