The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is seeking a Sales Coordinator. Reporting to the Market Solutions Manager, the Sales Coordinator will support the administrative function of the sales team   NAEYC is a professional membership organization that works to promote high-quality early learning for all young children, birth through age 8, by connecting early childhood practice, policy, and research. NAEYC advances a diverse, dynamic early childhood profession and supports all who care for, educate, and work on behalf of young children.

The Sales Coordinator provides support services to the sales representatives and organization, orders support materials; sets appointments; and arranges presentations and support. This position will also be responsible for organizing trade show appearances and displaying product materials; on-site coordination and execution of displays, shipping and other logistical coordination.

The Sales Coordinator will co-manage the AMS sales module with the IT department and assist with any product or technical queries. This role will maintain sales records as a basis for reports to the division's Senior Director, be responsible for preparing sales reports by individual representatives, product line and sales to individual customers.  This will be accomplished while maintaining the customer database with lead cultivation, sales cycle and goals. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for customer database imports, manual data entry and constant reporting updates to ensure current information.

The Sales Coordinator will conduct research and outreach to secure relationships with new companies, provide reporting and support to division lead and manager with budget planning, reconcile credit card statements for division lead and sales representatives and perform other work related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS/BA in business administration or relevant field, or equivalent years of related experience.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in sales or other administrative position.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Access)
  • Well organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with high level of dedication
