Successful candidates must be willing and able to obtain a security clearance; therefore, U. S. Citizenship is required. We are seeking mid and senior level RF Hardware Design Engineers with expertise digital hardware design and PC board layout. Engineers will develop hardware devices and platforms for embedded RF products as part of a cross-functional multi-disciplinary engineering team. This role requires the ability to effectively collaborate with a cross functional design team. Candidates must possess solid interpersonal as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. Ideal Candidates will be proficient with: Cascade analysisNoise Figure Minimum Discernable Signal Dynamic Range Saturation (P1dB and IP3) Receiver design includingLow Noise Amplifiers (LNA) RF Filtering Mixers PLL synthesizers A/D converter integration Transmitter design includingUp-converter Mixers Power Amplifiers Linearity Analysis (ACPR, etc) D/A Converter Integration Antenna theory and design RF impedance matching Lumped element filter design RF Link budget analysis Mixed signal design integrating radio hardware with a DSP or microprocessor High speed digital design Power supply design Thermal analysis Schematic entry, PCB layout, BOM generation Able to work at the bench with standard RF test equipment Preferred skills will include: Design for Manufacturing / Production Experience in supporting mechanical packaging and enclosure design Experience with Altium tools Experience with EMPro Qualifications 5 years+ experience designing RF solutions (Junior level) 10 years+ experience designing RF solutions (Senior level) BS Electrical Engineering or similar field, Master degree preferred Benefits: We work in a unique environment that's employee and family-friendly.
