Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Configuration Manager that can integrate tightly into a Government team to provide configuration management and change management process support for a high visibility program. Monitor all service assets and Configuration Items (CIs) and validate and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMD) for all Client services, applications, and infrastructure. Provide configuration management for all services, hardware, and software and perform and document software and hardware baselines. Comply with Service Asset and Configuration Management policies and procedures. Manage Request for Change (RFC) processes, standardize processes, and identify, prioritize, plan, schedule, and monitor implementation. Provide operational management of RFC implementation, success, or issues, manage documentation, and participate in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process and stakeholders The configuration manager, closely integrated with the Governmentcontractor engineers and developers counterparts, will have primary ownership of the configuration management deliverables and all changes to the baseline. This work is expected to be accomplished from a Ft Meade, MD Government location or contractor facility with potential infrequent local travel to a Virginia Government location. Requirements include " Ability to multi-task, be flexible and adapt to a dynamic and exciting work environment " Experience in management configuration programs to ensure that all proposed and actual changes to program technology and documentation are properly staffed, approved, and tracked " Identify and develop Configuration Item (CI) baselines, maintain CM library, and prepare change requests (ServiceNow) for Configuration Item updates. " Experience with facilitating the change notification process used for updating products " Ability to ensure notification of performing organizations or project teams of change activity " 2+ years of experience with software configuration management (CM) " Experience with establishing and maintaining baselines and change control and conducting configuration audits, status accounting, and reviews " Experience in generating or assisting with the development of CM plans, processes, and procedures " Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word " Experience with CM planning and execution " Experience with software configuration management, source code management, software delivery metrics, software quality metrics " Knowledge of the full software development life cycle " Experience with Agile software development methodology " Ability to work independently and within a team environment with geographically dispersed team members " Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment " Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills " Experience designing and implementing a cross-platform CM framework " Experience with forming andor running ConfigurationChange Control Board (CCB) 3 to 5 years with a bachelors degree or 5-7 years with Associates or Professional Certificate and MUST POSSESS A SECRET CLEARANCE.
