MSI is seeking a Web Administrator to support our client located in Rockville, MD. Overview Configuring and supporting the day-to-day system management tasks such as trouble-shooting, backup management and performance tuning Maintains system stability, performance monitoring, security, and storage capacity requirements. Installation and maintenance of off the shelf software products and custom software built in-house. Identify hardware and software platform issues and work with System Admins to implement proper patches and updates Performance tuning and recommend performance improvements Monitor and support third party services, applications (web services, client applications) and other service provider data interfaces Perform daily management of hosted applications, Troubleshoot and resolve performance problems and issues, Planning, development and implementation of application upgrades, Document procedures used for hosted application administration, Training technical staff in hosted application administration Maintains system stability, performance monitoring, security, and storage capacity requirements for Web based applications. Qualifications Expert knowledge of Windows 2008, 2012 and 2016 operating systems Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting IIS V7.5, V8.5 and V10 Experience in managing hardware load balanced applications Experience in administering SSL certificates for web servers (creating, applying, troubleshooting) Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting MySQLPostgres Experience with PowerShell scripting Detailed knowledge of TCPI Strong troubleshooting skills Desired Experience with application connectivity, configuration and testing with backend databases like Microsoft SQL 2012, 2014 2016 Experience in administering Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2015 and 2017 Experience in administering Microsoft Release Management 2016 Experience in administering Drupal 7.x 8.x on Windows Experience in administering PHP, Java, R, LDAP, SimpleSAML, IDP, Moodle, .Net, .NetCore, Tomcat, JBOSS, Tableau applications. Experience in administering URL monitoring tools like Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2012 and HP Sitescope. Knowledge of switching, routing and enterprise storage MCSE Certifications Experience managing AWS EC2 instances
