Provide advice on structuring acquisitions. Design and prepare acquisition transaction steps and analysis. Incorporate tax structuring advice from other jurisdictions. Provide clients with ad-hoc advice on company reorganizations and restructuring activities. Identify post deal opportunities during the M&A process and subsequently pursuing them, working with other tax specialists as required. Develop and coach members of the M&A team. Undertake technical research projects. Develop, supervise, mentor, and motivate the M&A tax service line team by actively participating in their advancement through on-the-job training, providing performance feedback, counseling, and fostering our team-based atmosphere. Develop the business and brand. Manage client relationships. Provide mentorship and development opportunities to staff. Your Experience Includes:. Bachelor or Masters in Accounting or Taxation. A minimum of 8 years of experience in M&A tax. Experience as a Tax Manager in a public accounting firm preferred. Proven, excellent, communication skills with management and clients. Mastery of Microsoft Office Products (with an emphasis on Excel) and research software preferred. Characteristics for Success in This Role:. Entrepreneurial spirit and a solution-oriented mindset.
