Covenant Woods currently has exciting Part-Time Cook opportunities to work in our Assisted Living and Healthcare wing. Duties for this position include preparing meals for our residents while following food health and safety procedures. This position requires cleaning and assisting other cooks and staff members. Work may include operating a grill or oven. Previous experience in a team environment and various cooking methods preferred. Job Requirements: Able to work in a fast paced environment. Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently Physical endurance to stand for entire shift Self-motivated and self-directed Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks Able to quickly memorize complex or multiple orders Must have a desire to impact the lives of our residents by preparing and serving appetizing meals. Must have ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including recipes, have clean work habits. Ability to prepare all breakfast, lunch and dinner items to order, including: eggs, pancakes, French toast, breakfast meats, hot cereals, sandwiches and salads according to resident preferences and diet orders.
