UGT is currently seeking two Systems Engineers to leverage Human Centered Design and use case development methodologies to analyze, design and implement changes to existing systems and the next generation of Operational and Business applications. Each Contractor will be part of a bigger team actively supporting requirements for existing systems and building the next generation of applications across a variety of development platforms (Java, Rails, PHP, MEAN, SharePoint, and Domino). This job requires Systems Engineers who can analyze the customer s needs, environment, requirements and operational objectives to design and develop software solutions as a user advocate. The Systems Engineers shall work closely with the Sponsor and other teammates where they will work with developers across multiple software platforms to document and develop designs, analyze and evaluate stakeholder and operational needs to derive requirements. The Systems Engineers will serve as the pipeline between the customers and the software development teams. This will include working in an agile team environment. The Systems Engineers will need strong analytical skills to critically evaluate the information captured from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and determine solutions. Furthermore, the Systems Engineers shall have strong interviewing skills to talk to customers about their needs, be able to ask the right questions to capture essential requirements. Required skills and demonstrated experience Demonstrated experience with Human Centered Design methodologies. Demonstrated experience working with agile teams and agile development practices (sprint planninggrooming, sprint reviews, retrospectives, daily scrum). Demonstrated experience converting customer requirements into user stories with defined acceptance criteria designingdeveloping storyboards that are deliverable. Demonstrated experience establishing and implementing effective requirement practices. Demonstrated experience in prioritization of customer requirements. Demonstrated experience with rapid prototyping, which includes wire framing and story mapping and graphical mockups. Demonstrated experience with working on multi-discipline project team through all phases of the product development to ensure successful execution. Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and definition. Certified Scrum Master. Demonstrated experience as an agile coachtrainer. Demonstrated experience facilitatingcoordinating meetings across multiple components within multi-tier organizational structure. Other demonstrated experiences which are highly desired, though not required, include Demonstrated experience running multiple-tenant JIRA boards. Demonstrated experience analyzing science and technology business processes. Demonstrated experience working with requirements for building and integrating applications in Sponsor Cloud Environment. Demonstrated application domain knowledge across multiple development platforms (Rails, PHP, Java, MEAN, SharePoint, Domino). Demonstrated experience working with customers worldwide. Travel OCONUS Once a year for 5-10 days CONUS Once a year for 3-5 days
