100 REMOTE CONTRACT TO HIRE Required Skills 10+ years of experience providing technical support to Enterprise operations with 8 years of experience supporting physical and virtual LinuxUNIX-based enterprise servers. 6+ years of technicalteam lead experience 5+ years of experience supporting Apache webserver in an enterprise environment Previous experience supporting and troubleshooting virtual servers, OS, and hosted application issues reported through monitoring or customer submittals. Experience performing enterprise level project implementation and support with strong working knowledge of operating server and storage infrastructure, virtualization, cloud technology, knowledge of multiprocessing, threading, concurrency, distributed systems, load balancing, high availability, and COOPDR. Collaborating in a team atmosphere communicating through various technology channels with teams and end customers locally or remote. Experience supporting government customers in secure environments, familiarity of Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) operating standards and applicable guidelines. Basic knowledge monitoring and management tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, HP OpenView, SolarWinds, or similar server tools. Experience with ITIL methodology specifically Incident, Request and Change management principles and tracking systems. Ability to drive efficient resolution of all incidents through analytical and structured approaches to problem solving As this is a federal contract, Candidate must be able to obtain a US Public Trust clearance Desired Skills Bachelors Degree or Higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline ITIL Foundation Level Certification RHCSARHCE (version 6 or newer) Experience or significant exposure to some of the following technologies SAN Storage and switching, Solaris Zones, Amazon Web Services Interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate effectively, self-awareness, and excellent written and oral communications Experience with IT service management best practices such as change, problem, incident, configuration and service level management is strongly preferred Experience in the development and refinement of processes and procedures to ensure efficient, repeatable and effective monitoring and troubleshooting of network and systems
