Idea Entity, a Microsoft Gold Partner, is looking for a Senior Software Design Engineer who will assume a key leadership role on our RhyBus product development team. This role has responsibility for understanding our digital workspace platform that enables organizations to transform their business processes through portals, dashboards, and workflows. RhyBus is making a difference in very large organizations by enabling work from anywhere, process collaboration, knowledge management, and enabling decision makers through analytics. Your responsibilities Be a collaborative team player to architect, design, develop, and deliver high quality software that powers ever-increasing demands of availability, reliability, security, and performance. Mentor our product development team. Collaborate with our solution delivery teams to analyze customer requirements, prioritize and drive features to closure with very high quality. Maintain code integrity and organization Bring creative and innovative thinking to your work, as your input and insight is essential to what is next. Stay on top of industry trends and standards. Requirements 8+ year s software development experience in full product cycle design, development, release and maintenance with a strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals. Experience in building on web technologies and frameworks (JavaScriptHTMLCSSjQuery). Experience with databases, such as SQL Server. Experience with cloud based services (Azure, AWS, etc.). Knowledge of code versioning tools such as TFS and GIT, and processes, like code reviews. Understanding and implementation of security and data protection. Excellent object-oriented design and coding. Must be willing to work from our Herndon, VA office. Education Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline. Preferred, but not required Experience with Agile project management techniques. Excellent interpersonal and group dynamic skills. Strong written verbal communication and presentation skills. Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed. MCTS or MCPD certifications. Veterans Preferred.
