IND 002-004Job QualificationsReporting directly to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for oversight of the general accounting and reporting functions. The selected candidate will perform other critical tasks including, but not limited to; managing the accounts payable and payroll cycles, general oversight and assistance of the accounts receivable/billing cycle, maintaining and reconciling the general ledger, assistance in monthly financial reporting, assisting with the month and year end close, lead government audits with DCAA/DCMA, and other outside audits as required.Specific Responsibilities Manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, payroll, and travel expenses. Manage Finance staff Perform monthly bank reconciliations Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts Prepare and analyze monthly cost trend reports, investigate variances Perform Indirect rate process and variance analysis Provide financial interpretation, analysis, support and monitor costs/charges for appropriateness, accuracy and compliance as it relates to government accounting/accounting standards rules and regulations. Lead the development and execution of a shared services function that centralizes the following accounting processes; Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll Assist in managing external financial statement and regulatory audits Lead/manage bi-weekly payroll process Lead the monthly financial close process Continually improve current processes to gain efficiencies Lead regulatory reporting, including annual Incurred Cost Submission, Provisional Indirect Rate submission, and other applicable reporting requirements Work with DCAA to process historical incurred cost audits, respond to rate variance claims and file necessary paperwork to finalize past years. nimum Requirements: Minimum of 8 years of corporate accounting experience as an Accounting Manager is required, with at least 4 of these years working in a government contracting environment. SAP by Design or SAP experience is highly desired. Minimum of 4 years of experience leading/managing people in Accounting/Payroll. Experience with ADP and Concur travel is preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent years of experience Ability to work independently with minimum direction In-depth knowledge of FAR and CAS regulations Professional demeanor with excellent written and oral communication skills for interaction with all levels within the organization, along with external customers and vendors. Ability to work cross functionally to resolve accounting issues Ability to work additional hours during peak times Advanced skill level with MS Excel CPA highly desired Compensation: $80,000 - 95,000
