Hardware and software supported include: application servers, web servers, print servers, virtual file servers, reporting tools, etc., and all tasks associated with their backup/recovery, performance, and operations.Systems AdministratorEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, configure and optimize PC and Network Operating Systems, to include but not limited to Microsoft, Uniplexed Information and Computing System (UNIX), Linux, Cloud Computing Environment, and VMware server operating systemsprovide technical support, analysis, data management, and server management to sustain the operational computing environmentDesign, implement, and maintain policies and procedures in support of, but not limited to, data storage/back-up/recovery, server software and firmware upgrades, and standard server maintenance. Support shall include the design, implementation, and/or on-going sustainment of Microsoft Active Directory to include forest creation, establishment or trust relationship, and account creation and maintenanceMaintain currency of knowledge with respect to relevant, state-of- the-art hardware, software, solution sets, etc., in order to provide innovative solutions and recommendationsProvide all areas of Data-Center Program Technical Support to include site assessments, preventive maintenance, and emergency and corrective services. Data-Center Administration shall include datacenter planning and design, power and cooling analysis, feasibility studies, risk assessments, site surveys, energy usage assessments, optimization evaluations, and relocation and consolidation servicesDevelop a comprehensive life-cycle management plan to include a technology implementation roadmap. Data-Center surveys shall include providing the equipment reconfiguration requirements, developing floor plan layouts, estimating bills- of-material, identifying data communication requirements and shortfalls, verifying power distribution and environmental in order to meet mission critical requirementsManagement of UNIX, Linux, Solaris, Macintosh, Windows, VMware and other operating systemsRemediate all security vulnerabilities on all servers, desktops and infrastructure devices to meet security and operational requirementsProvide remote management, monitoring, and visibility to assets throughout the organization and environmentprovide support to include the creation and deployment of customized packages to meet operational requirements and remediate security vulnerabilitiesprovide infrastructure management and monitoring capabilities to include the server, network (wired and wireless), and virtualization environmentsdesign, implement, and support other enterprise level applications to include, but not limited to, enterprise log collection, and asset portfolio managementsupport, maintain, and upgrade the RHC-A operating systems, patching packages and hardware upgradesarchitect and engineer subsequent upgrades to the Virtual Infrastructureprovide services to assist with the management of the organization's Virtual Infrastructure Life Cycle Frameworksupport enterprise level technologiesassist with the design, configuration, implementation and maintenance of the Disaster Site Recovery planInstalling and maintain Windows 2008, 2012, 2016 and Linux base operating systems.Advanced knowledge troubleshooting New Technology File System (NTFS) file share and managing Distributed File Systems (DFS) serveEvaluate, plan, provide requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, training, and sustainment of COTS and GOTS web-based and mobile applications and systemsSupervisory/Management AuthorityThis position will not have supervisory/management authority.Education And/or ExperienceA Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, business, Communications or related field Must have excellent oral, verbal, written communication skillsExperience with managing complex, integrated work plansExperience in assembling technical documents and providing detailed analysis of various business system functionsExperience developing executive-level briefings and presentationsKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesUnderstanding of and experience with UNIX, Linux, Solaris, Macintosh, Windows, VMware operating systemsUnderstanding of and experience with Microsoft SCCM, Tanium, ForeScout and GoverlanUnderstanding of and experience with SCCM and Solar WindsUnderstanding of and experience with vCenter, ESXi, vCenter Operations Manager, vCenter Site Recovery Manger and Cisco UCS hardwareUnderstanding of and experince with EMC SAN storage management, storage zoning, SAN Lun provisioning, HA clustering technology for VMware and Microsoft, ability to manage Network Attached Storage (NAS) head utilizing Common Internet File System (CIFS) and Network File System (NFS) shares, configuring replication both remote and local utilizing EMC RecoverPoint appliance, EMC backup (Avamar)Understanding of and experience with ASP, .NET, C#, MS SharePoint and MOSS, AJAX, Java, Flash, HTML, CSS, Adobe Illustrator, SiteCore and Web Services technologiesWork EnvironmentThis position is primarily performed in a climate controlled office setting.
