Job Title - PeopleSoft Analyst ( HR & Payroll ) Location - Washington, DC Duration - 2+ Years ( Long Term )RequirementsResponsibilities include Be familiar enough with PeopleSoft to understand the navigation, interaction of HR and Payroll data, and impact of HR data entered and processed through Payroll. Quickly grasp the customizations in place to accommodate the client's requirement of separating certain shared HR and Payroll components/data. Learn the client's business processes around hires, transfers, employee data changes, and terminations. This is for two distinct HR groups and the Payroll group. Perform employee-level data entry of transactions. Guide HR users on data entry and monitor entered transactions for accuracy and to ensure they are processed by Payroll. Review historical records to convert them into PeopleSoft (maybe only for active employees). Write SQL scripts for mass loads of historical data. Act as a liaison between the HR and Payroll groups. Be able to diplomatic in difficult user situations. Assist with user testing. Assist with user training. Requirements Must have a strong understanding of PeopleSoft HR/Payroll systems. Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information Systems (preferred). US Citizenship is required to work on this Federal project.
