Our clients hire us to help them design and deploy income-based financing options for students. In this position you will help us develop the market for income share agreements (ISAs) by assisting schools as they learn to strategically deploy ISA programs. This is a multi-faceted role that will include both the use of existing models and methods as well as developing new, rigorous analysis and reporting processes. Experience in education and labor markets would be extremely helpful.Responsibilities:Master the nuances of our product offerings, both technical and conceptual, in order to truly serve as a trusted partner to customers and help them understand how we can help address their challengesCreate predictive modeling program designs for partners and prospective clients leveraging knowledge of education and labor marketsUnderstand current structures for asset-backed ISA programs and help to improve the structure of future transactionsDesign and build improved financial modeling tools to complement our current methods of investment analysisIdentify needs of internal stakeholders for additional analytics tools and bring those tools to fruitionSupport the Vice Presidents of Credit and Strategic Analytics in performing rigorous credit analysis on existing portfolio accountsWe're looking for someone who: First and foremost, embraces a passion for our mission to expand educational access for all Americans through income-based financing programsLoves being a great teammateHas experience working in investment & credit analysis, structured finance, education, or labor and wage economicsPossesses exceptional quantitative analysis skills with the aptitude to solve complex problems with creative solutionsHas advanced Excel skillsExperience with SQL (and analytics tools such as Tableau or Looker would be helpful)Possesses superb verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate up and down an organizationIs flexible about work: we have ambitious goals with clients who depend on usRequired Qualifications:Minimum 4 years of experience in highly quantitative disciplinePreferred Qualifications:6 years of professional experience in labor & wage economics, financial aid analysis, investment banking, or portfolio analysisAbout Us: Vemo Education is a mission-driven educational technology company focused on expanding educational access for all Americans.
