We have ambitious growth plans, and we are now expanding our team to realize that growth, specifically with a VP of Sales & Marketing Summary The VP of Sales and Marketing role will support Sales Boomerang's mission, vision and values including its purpose of creating customer return on database assets through innovation. You will play a crucial role in developing the sales team, sales pipeline and winning new business to fuel company growth. This position will lead the Sales Reps (SR) and Sales Development Managers (SDR) and work closely with the Customer Success Managers (CSM) to develop and nuture new prospect leads, close new deals, onboard and retain clients. You will also help Sales Boomerang tell their story and build their brand by representing the company externally. Key AccountabilitiesLead Sales and Marketing TeamWork with SRs to meet new account and revenue goalsManage performance of Sales Manager, SRs and SDRs including weekly 1 on 1sLead weekly Sales Meetings (L10), including creation and management of sales team "rocks"Evaluate team effectiveness of Sales presentations including Sales Demos and related close ratesBuild Sales team capabilities through coaching, counseling, skills development and product knowledgeProvide direct selling and co-selling for key accounts and strategic partnersWork with CSM team on upselling opportunities including Ad On products and ensure low customer churnWork with Marketing Manager on support and evaluate of lead generation and brand building programsEnsure Sales Team is adhering to all company pricing policies and proceduresManage Sales and Marketing budgets to ensure company profitability Sales Pipeline, Forecasting and KPIsResponsible for maintaining sales pipeline needed to achieve company monthly objectivesProvide accurate monthly sales and new account forecastsEnsure correct usage of CRM by all Sales Team membersDevelop, analyze and track sales KPIs and measure success via scorecards, including L10 meetingsAssist in the development of the annual sales plan Develop Sales and Marketing TeamWork with Sales Manager to recruit, interview, hire and on board new sales team members including SRsIdentify and work with Marketing to improve brand and product awareness as well as generate and distribute leads for Sales RepsBuild and refine the company sales story and related sales messaging used in Demos and related Marketing materialsWork with Marketing to develop effective outbound campaigns to generate new leads, including targeted listsEvaluate Sales Reps performance and capabilities on Demos, coach for improvement where neededSupport sales team development including implementing individual development plans and related trainingProvide weekly coaching and support Sales Manager and SRs with selling role playsEmbody company culture and maintain high sales employee engagementPerform annual appraisals for each team memberProvide Sales Training, including new hire training and onboardingUpdate CRM to track all stages of sales process and forecast new businessImplement performance improvement plans according to company policy Represent Sales Boomerang in the field and at events Attend industry conferences and events to help market the Sales Boomerang brand, including being a conference speaker Qualifications, Experience & CompetenciesRequirements:*Bachelor's Degree or equivalent thinking and operating level gained from work-experience*7-10+ Years of Sales and Marketing leadership experience in B2B Sales*Proficiency with MsOffice suite, aptitude for systems, databases, CRM's*Affinity and / or leadership experience with the mortgage (marketing) industry and or SaaS a definite plus*Track record of developing sales and marketing teams and achieving revenue and profit targets Competencies:*Coaching Skills, Builds High Performing Sales teams, People development skills, Team Oriented, Positive Leadership*Highly Analytical, Customer Oriented, Process Oriented*Executive Maturity, Results oriented, drive for achievement*Organized, detailed and thorough
