Software Engineer (Python) Capital One is seeking a Python Software Engineer to develop innovative technologies and solutions for our intelligent assistant, Eno. As a core member of our conversational AI team, you will be building the future of intelligent assistants, using advanced training techniques and machine learning tools. You will help us deliver Eno at scale for millions of customers and develop innovative ways to accelerate Eno s ability to learn. Working within an Agile team, you ll be an active driver of the full sprint cycle from story planning to reviews and demos. This is a full stack software engineering role targeting truly creative technologists. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor s degree or military experience At least 3 years of experience in software engineering At least 4 years of Python development Preferred Qualifications: Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics 5+ years experience in software development 1+ years of experience with one of the following: Java, Node, or C Experience with Machine Learning, Conversational AI, or general AI Experience with OOP, Architecture, and other best practices Experience with technologies like Jenkins, Kafka, Postgresql, DynamoDB, or MongoDB Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
