InquisITA cents € (TM) s is seeking a Systems Engineer to join us in Washington DC. In this role, you will ensure system availability and end user support. The engineer will provide Tier 3 support to issues escalated from Tier 1/Tier 2 technicians while working with a team of highly skilled engineers to further develop, implement and maintain information systems. A' Primary job responsibilities Acts as the point of contact responsible for the planning, deploying, and monitoring of information systems Collaborates with internal and client leadership to gather, define, and disseminate technical specifications and test plans to customers, pilot users, and stakeholders Performs system/data backup and recovery, maintains Active Directory, creates and modifies group policy objects Implements upgrade strategies for the enterprise with specific attention to Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, and Ivanti products Leads the installation, maintenance, and system administration of network servers including Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 operating system, VMware vSphere 6.5 environment, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Participates in the development and implementation of VDI-related operational procedures and standards Deploys enhanced functionality to the VDI environment to include applications, patches, and hot fixes Develops and implements testing strategies and document results Monitors and reviews infrastructure to exceed service availability goals and surpass service levels Ensures adherence to quality standards and security best practices are followed Identifies and resolves network, end-user, and client issues A' Required skills BachelorA cents € (TM) s degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience 8-12 years of related technical experience, and a minimum of 5 years of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop (XenApp and XenDesktop) experience 3-5 years of experience implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting Citrix NetScaler Experience implementing and supporting an Enterprise MDM solution (Citrix XenMobile, IBM MaaS360, Microsoft Intune) Advanced experience with Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/Group Policy and cloud hosting environments preferably Azure and AWS Experience implementing and managing Ivanti (formerly RES One) Workspace Suite An understanding of network and host based security devices (ie firewall, VPN, load balancers, switches, routers, wireless and other devices or appliances).
