We are currently hiring for a Help Desk Technician who will be responsible for handling tier 1 and tier 2 service requests. This includes, but is not limited to: workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software.Primary Responsibilities Provide onsite and remote support to end-users Troubleshoot Windows and Microsoft Office applications Work with IT Ticketing Management system, escalate and document in a timely manner Receive and respond to help desk calls and emails promptly and efficiently. Windows OS installation and configuration Network connectivity installation and troubleshooting Setup and configure mobile devices for email Perform product/solution research as required Fully owning and documenting various user environments Work with the rest of IT to recommend long term solutions to solve recurring or frequent user issues Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in a help desk position Certifications required: CompTIA+; Network+ & Security+ are preferred Experience with end-user workstation support preferably in a tier 1/2 help desk setting Very strong ability to communicate to customers clearly and in a concise manner Ability to effectively diagnose issues, work through problem isolation and resolution Excellent troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities Able to read and understand technical documentation and procedure manuals Extensive experience with Windows operating systems(XP through 8), Mac Experience is a plus Provide general support for Microsoft Office suite and other SMB related applications Working knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, SMTP, SNMP, DHCP, TCP/IP Working knowledge of networking equipment such as switches, routers, wireless access points Working knowledge of Active Directory and MS Exchange is a plus Knowledge of Solarwinds/N-Able and ConnectWise is a plus Knowledge of cloud based solutions is a plus Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field or equivalent experience Self-motivated, responsible, organized, detail oriented, quick learner, team player Excellent verbal and written communication skills Reliable transportation is required
