Candidate should also enjoy routine and structured activities. The position regularly requires professional skills, exercise of discretion and independent judgment and the work activities will be directly related to the management, running and servicing of the company's business and its general business operations. Primary responsibilities will include:Maintaining daily cash transactions in master ledger file Booking cash transactions to the general ledgerInvestigating cash balances or fees in clearing accounts with the assistance of team membersContribute to other processes within accounting, treasury and debt operationsPerform month-end closing processes, including preparing lead sheets for various balance sheet accounts, processing and posting activity to the General Ledger, and reconciliations{This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work expected and the basic requirements therefor. The incumbent is expected to be able to commute to the office on a daily basis within an hour one-way using standard methods of transportation (eg car, bus, Metrorail)HoursThe incumbent is required to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and is expected to occasionally stay late in order to complete a task. In addition, the incumbent is occasionally expected to be available after hours via telephone and/or email to assist with travel, emergency, or unexpected events. This position is exempt from overtime (no overtime pay).
