You will be developing in Dynamics Business Central, which is a Microsoft ERP product. The developer is responsible for the development and enhancements of the system, its interfaces, reporting requirements, configuration, and oversight and upgrading. Performs as the technical expert with thorough understanding of the business application of an assigned project. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities Actively participates in the documentation of software requirements, functional design, flowcharts and diagrams along side analysts and business users to gather functional and technical requirements Design, develop and upgrade Dynamics NAV/Navision software Design and develop application software modules that support software reuse Develop custom application software to meet company and customer needs Application development and support using formal specifications and other design techniques Identifies and reports problems in new and existing software. Recreates reported software problems to facilitate solutions. This includes validating the fix for the software problem. Develops the critical components of the solution, including but not limited to, security, rules infrastructure, custom adapter implementation, implement application interfaces Create software applications following programming standards Maintain version history of software source code Develop prototypes to established requirements and design Provide end-user technical support as needed RequirementsEducation . BS in Computer Science or related degree and at least 7 years of work experience Required experience. 3-5 years ERP software background . Knowledge of ERP business process involved in sales, purchasing, inventory and jobs . Firm knowledge of accounting . Dynamics NAV / Business Central development . Knowledge of Microsoft technologies like MS SQL, Power BI, Visual Studio Code . Experience AL programming language.
