EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) is seeking a Project Engineer for the Water Systems Engineering Department in our Laurel, Maryland, office.Minimum QualificationsExperience designing new and rehabilitated water and wastewater collection and distribution systems, pumping stations, and treatment facilitiesExperience evaluating water and wastewater treatment systems including equipment selection, process piping design, water distribution systems design for potable or non-potable water, hydraulic profile calculations, and drawings and specifications preparation using AutoCADExperience performing hydraulic analyses of water supply systems or water distribution networks to model flow characteristics, test for pressure losses, or to identify opportunities to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiencyAbility to populate data, test, and calibrate WaterCAD model and perform sanitary sewer system evaluation studiesExperience performing hydraulic analyses of sanitary sewer systems using Bentley SewerCAD or Infoworks ICM softwareExperience applying for and obtaining environmental permitsAbility to provide support during construction including attending meetings, reviewing shop drawings, and responding to requests for information and contractor submittalsExperience implementing and following company quality control procedures, maintaining client relationships, and implementing project cost controlsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC), DC Water, and the City of BaltimorePE licenseEducation And Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering2+ years of experience in civil or environmental engineeringEmployment RequirementsU.S. citizen, Green Card Resident, or Work Authorization holder in the United StatesAbility to successfully pass a federal, state, and local security background checkPre-employment drug screeningEBA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
