Our client, an American management and information technology consulting firm, is currently seeking a Recruiting Assistant for a 3 month temporary position with the opportunity for an extension. The position is located in McLean, Virginia In addition to working with the world's most recognized and trusted name in staffing, Kelly employees can expect:- Competitive pay- Paid holidays- Year-end bonus program- Recognition and incentive programs- Access to continuing education via the Kelly Learning Center The hours for this position are as followsMonday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Pay Rate: $38.00/Hour - $43.00/Hour Description:Act as a business advisor and consultant to drive HR delivery and support business priorities for corporate functions.Provide expertise in HR subject matter, thought leadership, and coaching to consult with business leaders on talent management, change initiatives, and programs that support increased affiliation, engagement, and retention effectively.Scan the employee environment and facilitate focus groups to ensure a high level of employee engagement.Serve as a champion of change to drive deeper adoption of the firm's culture, inclusion practices, wellness initiatives, and technologies.Leverage data and insights to identify process improvement opportunities, comprehend trends, inform solutions, and drive talent-based activities, including performance, talent planning, engagement, and development.Collaborate with COE groups, including benefits, compensation, learning and development, and recruiting to provide innovative and creative solutions to clients, work closely with the compensation partner to analyze employee compensation within client groups, and make recommendations to leaders as part of salary planning and promotion processes, as needed.Partner with leaders to comprehend team and individual performance concerns, recommend strategies to improve performance, monitor for improvement, and identify, resolve, and escalate barriers and risks in a timely manner. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as an HR generalist and performing as an HR Business Partner (BP) within a large organizationExperience with using facts and analytics to comprehend trends and develop solutions that lead to measurable impact on an organizationKnowledge of HR technology, including HRIS or WorkdayKnowledge of US employment laws and how to advise management on complex employee relations and performance challengesAbility to display a proven track record of solid performance and be comfortable and confident in leading through changeAbility to be results-driven as a trusted advisor to leaders, peers, and employees with an excellent consultative approach, using problem-solving to address a variety of employee or people issuesAbility to travel within the DC Metro regionBA or BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Development **Important information: This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.
