Account Executive- Public Sector
Huddle is seeking an Account Executive (AE) to join our growing team. The AE will focus on driving new business revenue and building his/her own book of business in to the US Public Sector space. You will join an experienced Federal sales team who have held leadership roles at leading cloud and enterprise software companies.Imagine selling a product customer love and need, at a fun and exciting company! Turning well-nurtured prospects into new Huddle customers and managing the full sales cycle. Imagine having the opportunity to consult customers about their business objectives and being able to demonstrate true business value of a market-leading Collaboration platform!As Account Executive, you get to work the territory with revenue quota responsibility, working out of our Bethesda office. You will manage the sales process for new prospective customers throughout the sales cycle for both warm and cold leads. Typical activities which result in success include following up with marketing-generated leads, researching Agencies and identifying prospects/leads that are a good fit for Huddle, performing outreach activities, setting meeting, demonstrating Huddle over the web and/or in person (if within the local DMV area), writing proposals, negotiating deals, and closing business. Attendance will be required at trade shows and client events that are deemed viable for generating sales opportunities. You will also be responsible for forecasting accurately in Salesforce and managing the renewal process for the accounts you close, working closely with Customer Success. This is a high impact and quota-carrying position.RequirementsPrimary Responsibilities Reports directly to the Head of US Public Sector Sales -Represent Huddle and its product suite in new customer accounts across the US Public Sector.Educate prospects that have very little prior knowledge about our technology or the collaboration market.Meet and exceed direct sales goals within assigned territory.Manage all aspects of the sales process including calling inbound leads from marketing, generating new leads to chase, qualification, evaluation, closing and managing renewals.Educating yourself on Huddle competition.Keeping the Product Team informed of new requirements from the field -Provide product demonstration to prospects via Zoom.Work closely with the local US Public Sector Team and with overseas co-workers and support staff to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer success.Key Skills And QualificationsYou have at least 5 yrs of direct software sales experience with an assigned quota, preferably in a high volume, transactional sales environment.Style. You're willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic and no fear of creating conversations from scratch.Excellent Communication. You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it -Domain. Experience in a technical sales role (product support or training).
