RDA Technical Services is currently seeking an experienced System Software Engineer to provide Software Program support for an Army Tactical Radar system. This support will include monitoring the development of system software/algorithms and support of laboratory and field testing.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide System Engineering support, including software support for development of an Army airborne Radar systemMonitor the development of system software/algorithmsEvaluate Software test plans/test cases/scenariosSupport laboratory and field testing of the Army Tactical Radar systemWork collaboratively with team members to understand their technical approach and provide technical guidanceSkill RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics with 5 years related experienceStrong technical writing and communications skillsSoftware test procedure execution and development experienceRF or Communications experienceKnowledge of MATLAB, C++, VxWorks, PowerPC, real-time processingAbility to work well collaboratively and thrive independentlyUS Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance (up to TS/SCI) is required. An active Security Clearance is preferred. Job LocationThis position is located at Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG) in Aberdeen, Maryland. APG is a large Army installation located approximately 40 miles north of Baltimore and less than two hours from Philadelphia.
