Our client, a well-established, creative nonprofit association in downtown DC, is currently seeking a motivated Marketing Communications Specialist to join their team. You will be creating content for email newsletters, digital and print marketing campaigns, and website copy.Primary Responsibilities The Marketing Communications Specialist will implement and execute a marketing content strategy that will increase traffic to our client's website Work with the marketing and communications department to strategize overall messaging for new marketing campaigns The Marketing Communications Specialist will work with staff at all levels across multiple departments to develop and maintain marketing content and ensure that relevant information has a presence on multiple channels The Marketing Communications Specialist will develop copy for print and digital ads, emails, social media, brochures, and other marketing channels Assist the marketing department with long-form writing projects that include whitepapers and op-eds, in addition to general copywriting and editing responsibilities Qualifications 2-5+ years of relevant experience in marketing and/or copywriting Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field Experience in creating content for digital and print marketing channels Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment Proven ability to build team rapport and work effectively across multiple departments Experience writing in AP format a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Suite Experience editing and writing in both traditional and digital formats
