This is a contract to hire role for a Network Engineer.We have a need for an Associate Network Engineer to support and lead best-in-industry implementations that scale with our clients growing corporate network infrastructure.Responsibilities Support clients internal application and services groups by identifying and presenting their network-impacting requirements to the rest of the network engineering team; Use and build tools to deploy and manage clients rapidly expanding infrastructure; Develop, gather, and leverage metrics to manage the network to drive automation, improvement, and performance; Take responsibility for the infrastructure from requirements to implementation, including detailed design, analysis, testing, and optimization; Monitors and assist with the administration of a multi-site network infrastructure including the entire Cisco product suite; Work with various technologies and industry protocols including Cisco ASA, Cisco UCCE, FWSM and F5 LTM; and Ensure operational integrity of the national corporate network infrastructure. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in IT operations, Customer support for systems and operations services; Experience in monitoring and assisting in the installation, configuration, managing, and upgrading of network technologies; Requires basic knowledge of the following at varying levels of Network communication protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, etc.), and network communication hardware, and network topologies Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems using independent judgment while communicating effectively with internal and external customers; and CCNA or equivalent work experience required.
