Responsibilities Support Certification and Accreditation activities Architect and engineer security solutions Analyze and conduct vulnerability assessments Troubleshoot issues and respond to security incidents Address ongoing enterprise security changes Develop and revise security documentation Support security hardening activities Conduct security source code reviews Communicate activities across teams and client leads Employ sound project integration principles and project quality methods Qualifications 1+ years' of information security experience 1+ years' technical hands-on experience (installation, configuration, and troubleshooting) with at least one security technology including but not limited to Vulnerability Assessment Tools, Antivirus, Intrusion Detection Systems, Web Application Security Scanner, Virtual Private Networks, Security Information Event Management and Network Access Control, Database Security, and Encryption 1+ years' experience related to one of the following: risk assessments, security policy development, security strategy, general IT and security controls development, compliance readiness (ie NIST 800- Series, FISMA, FedRAMP, FIPS) 1+ years' experience technical security architecture/design Technical hands-on experience with security compliance and vulnerability assessment tools Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask; can set priorities and follow a timeline Proven innovative and analytical ability Proven success working on a team with team members at all levels Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-focus environment Bachelor's Degree US Citizenship (no dual) and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance required Experience in a Federal or DHS environment is a plus Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus Certification such as Security+, CISSP, CEH, CCNA, and/or GIAC is preferred
