Computer Security Specialist
Key Role:

Perform Tier III incident response activities, including advanced analytics and response, including forensics, threat hunting, and Cyber threat intelligence and perform APT hunting activities. Analyze suspicious Web sites, e-mails, and Web downloads for nefarious behaviors. Use forensic and malware analysis tools to perform computer forensic services, including digital evidence preservation, analysis, data recovery, and documentation based on established procedures. Perform threat intelligence analysis and achieve situational awareness. Collect, correlate, and disseminate relevant CTI. Maintain liaison and collaboration efforts with the Chief Security Office (CSO) and the Counter Intelligence (CI) responsible official in support of CI activities. Provide engineering support for the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Incident Response Team to provide enterprise solutions and solve complex problems.

Basic Qualifications:

-10 years of experience with IT and Security Operations support

-5+ years of experience with computer forensics

-Knowledge of NIST SP 800-86

-Knowledge of implementation and security levels and roles necessary for successful deployment

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Cybersecurity tools, network topologies, intrusion detection, PKI, and secured networks

-CFCE, CCE, or GIAC Certification
