For additional information on the Company, visit our web site: The Division Director of Finance for the Acute Division, oversees the Regional Finance staff and payroll department. Oversees all aspects of the accounting operations, including maintenance and enforcement of corporate accounting policies and procedures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ensuring the integrity of the Division's financial data and reporting. Ensures appropriate accounting, continued evolution and incorporation of digital tools, timely documentation of procedures and related policies, adherence to policies and procedures, instill strong internal controls, and provide support to the operational leadership team. Develops employees through appropriate management practices, creates a climate to motivate employees to highest performance. Establishes direction, coaches employees, provides feedback, and builds commitment. Job Requirements * Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred * Must possess a working knowledge of GAAP; a strong understanding of the financial management, business and clinical operations of healthcare enterprises; ability to direct the preparation of internal financial reports, ensuring that the reports reliably reflect the financial position of the Acute Care Division. * Must possess knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and knowledge of managed care and other payer processes and agreements. * Must be skilled at interpreting the abstract pieces of financial analysis and performance. * Assume a participating role in analyzing and exploring means of reducing hospital operating costs and increasing revenues based on knowledge of market trends, financial reports and operating procedures. * Assisting with the review of long and short-range plans, which may include service demand analyses, resources availability analyses, productivity, and cost benefit analyses of proposed capital and staff expansions. * Administering the operating and capital budgets; monitoring financial and economic information to identify trends and indicators that may impact business operations, planning, etc. * Reviewing contracts, purchase agreements, and other financial arrangements to ensure compatibility with business goals and expectations about profitability. * Able to execute and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. v15.2.5 * Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred * Must possess a working knowledge of GAAP; a strong understanding of the financial management, business and clinical operations of healthcare enterprises; ability to direct the preparation of internal financial reports, ensuring that the reports reliably reflect the financial position of the Acute Care Division. * Must possess knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and knowledge of managed care and other payer processes and agreements. * Must be skilled at interpreting the abstract pieces of financial analysis and performance.
