Produce accurate estimates and timely repairs for the customer. Pre-delivery tasks including loading codes, updating firmware/software and testing. Manage warranty submissions with manufacturer based on qualified products. Clearly and concisely document all work and repairs completed in a timely manner. Interpret and utilize information from operating, maintenance and service manuals/bulletins. Provide clean and calibration services on optical construction instruments. Manage SITECH rental equipment to ensure software, firmware and warranties are all current before customer use. Work with Trimble?s Service Technologies Specialists on repairs as needed.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in board level electronics troubleshooting and repairs. Experience using or repairing construction tools including but not limited to Trimble, Topcon, Leica and others. Understanding of Trimble products preferred. Must be capable of understanding and following guidelines and requirements for supporting and servicing Trimble products. Two year technical degree preferred. Must have a mechanical aptitude and good troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be proficient in MS Office products. Must have a valid driver?s license, good driving record and be willing to travel.
