Bi-Lingual Family Support Worker
MUST BE BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH AND HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION AS SERVICES ARE BOTH IN THE OFFICE AND COMMUNITY. Synergy Family Services, Inc. (SFS) is a dynamic Outpatient Mental Health Center focused on providing strengths based, culturally proficient services to enhance the social, emotional, behavioral health and wellness of individuals and families. Our goal is to help individuals and families identify and reach goals such as specific symptom relief, self-awareness, self-efficacy, recovery and the enhancement of well being. We believe in working in partnership with individuals and families to achieve successful outcomes across the spectrum of life domains. Our multidisciplinary staff reflects the unique cultural and linguistic needs of the consumers we serve and all of our services are available in English and Spanish. This position pays 15$ per session, payment is received at the end of the month, and its contractor work and a 1099 is issued at the end of the year. The family support worker sets their own days/times of availability. Great opportunity for college students who attend class in the morning and can provide interpretation in the afternoon or weekends. Primary duties will include: Interpretation of family sessions for non-Spanish speaking therapists, intern therapists, and direct care staff during family sessions Maintain excellent communication and coordination with assigned clinicians via email, text, phone callsSubmit weekly and monthly reports of services providedDocument patient contact in patient database Respond to emails within 24 hours Additionally, the family support worker must submit weekly and monthly reports of services provided and MUST ALWAYS adhere to the practice standards and ethical guidelines of the Board for Social Work.
