As a Director of Kitchen Operations, you are responsible for overseeing, contributing and empowering our Team Members to deliver "Remark"able food each and every time. Your ultimate goal is to consistently deliver an amazing product. Accountable for ensuring "REMARK"able food is consistently served Communicate and shares the Operator's vision for the Restaurant with all team members Setting defined customer experience goals (specifically related to product quality), measures restaurant performance and leads in making adjustments for continuous improvement. Partner with the leadership team to ensure kitchen team is aligned with the needs of the business (eg, food quality, catering, etc.) Maintain positive working relationships and coaches, motivates, and sets/reinforces expectations for team members Strictly adheres to all Company policies and procedures. Serve as subject matter expert to the team for ongoing kitchen operational support Responsible for inventory and waste tracking Ensure that Team Members follow tickets to accurately prepare all orders. Ensure that Team Members work at a pace to maintain restaurant's established speed of service guidelines. Ensure that Team Members monitor kitchen and equipment for overall cleanliness and functionality Ensure that Team Members follow appropriate food safety measures Create daily focus for the team to remain energized to deliver excellent food Ensure team members are empowered to execute "2nd Mile Service" Communicate employee performance and policy/procedure violations to the leadership team for appropriate handling. Facilitate celebrating successes as Team Members deliver "REMARK"able food Provide support within the restaurant to meet business needs Minimum Qualifications: Specific Experience:Required: High School Diploma or equivalentRequired: Strong analytical and problem solving skillsRequired: Experience leading in kitchen Required: Experience managing critical components in restaurant (eg, food safety, food costs, inventory, etc.) Preferred qualifications:Bachelors degree or aboveThis is a full time position.Bi-lingual -- ability to speak SpanishThis person must be skilled in time management.This person must be self-directed and highly organized.This person must have basic computer skills.This person must master all knowledge and skills of every position in the Restaurant including management and office work.
