We are dedicated to our boutique approach to property management and building communities that flourish, which stems from hiring strong associates to grow with Team Thrive!Join Our Leasing TeamWe have a part-time Leasing Consultant opening to contribute to our team at Sawyer Flats, a 648-unit community located in Gaithersburg, MD!Visit our website at sawyerflats.com or call us at 240.631.9061 for more information!Leasing Consultant Salary And Benefits$18/hour DOEEarn up to 8.75% of your annual income in bonuses each year!$150 commission per signed lease$50 commission per lease renewal (split between onsite team)Dental and vision insurance options $300 annual education/professional development creditPTO + 7 paid holidaysEmployer-matched 401k planTraining opportunities and career development/growth plans!Leasing Consultant Job ResponsibilitiesOversees the resident life cycle from the time a lead is initiated until move-out.Maintains a professional and friendly atmosphere in the leasing office and throughout the community for all current and prospective residents and clients.Conducts community tours and showcases the community features, benefits, and amenities.Regularly follows up with prospective residents via phone and email.Maintains close communication with maintenance team to ensure work orders are being completed and units are move-in readyCompletes all lease and renewal applications, assists with application verification, and notifies prospective residents of results.Responsible for shopping competitors and sharing your findings with the Community Manager and on-site team.Inspects models and vacant units daily to ensure cleanliness.Answers incoming phone calls and emails and responds to inquiries in a timely fashion.Oversees ongoing resident relations and assists with planning and hosting resident events and activitiesLeasing Consultant QualificationsLeasing experience in multi-family property management preferred, but not requiredStrong customer service skills requiredStrong communication and closing skills required, sales experience preferredExperience with Yardi and On-Site preferred, but not requiredDetail oriented and efficient multi-taskerPro-active problem solverDriven team playerWeekends requiredReliable transportation
