Advises senior leadership and senior leadership bodies on enterprise risk matters and ongoing risk management activities. -Work closely with other members of the Office of Strategy to lead all aspects of the formation of an ERM program for the Bureau within the Office of Strategy, including the development and execution of the Enterprise Risk Committee (ERC), Bureau-wide ERM process, ERM awareness initiatives. The employee will be responsible for both the high-level strategic development of the ERM program and its execution, in consultation with the Chief Strategy Officer and the Chief of Staff. -Communicate and build relationships with senior leaders, managers, and line level staff across the Bureau's divisions, as well as the points of contact from existing risk management bodies, to proactively identify emerging risks and to monitor enterprise risks. Uses seasoned judgment in deviating from standard practices or strategies to develop methods more appropriate to specific issues and problems. -Facilitate the regular meetings of the ERC, leads the preparation of materials for the ERC, guides prioritization and mitigation planning exercises, and prepares regular meeting read-outs for the Director and Deputy Director. The employee will monitor the status of risk mitigation efforts stemming from the deliberations of the ERC and provide regular updates to the members of the Committee. -Integrate ERM into Bureau-wide processes, such as budget and internal controls, as well as other Strategy office initiatives, including annual and regular performance reviews and strategic planning. The experience may have been gained in either the public or private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized experience: For the CN-71, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the CN-60 grade level in the Federal service (For qualification purposes, the CN-60 is broadly equivalent to the GS-14). Specialized experience for this position includes: 1) Professional work experience leading an enterprise risk management (ERM) program to actively identify risk in two or more of the following areas:a.
