Overview Technology is constantly changing and our adversaries are digitally exceeding law enforcement's ability to keep pace. Those charged with protecting the United States are not always able to access the evidence needed to prosecute crime and prevent terrorism. The Government has trusted in Peraton to provide the technical ability, tools, and resources to bring criminals to justice. In response to this challenge, Peraton is seeking a Cyber Software Developer to provide proven, industry leading capabilities to our customer. Responsibilities What you'll do Provide core technical leadership for the design, development, and maintenance of Windows-based software in support of national security Support the design and integration of various components of technology, including development and recommendations for new technologies, as appropriate. Design, development, test, documentation, maintenance, and deployment of software products for both PCs Perform quick reaction software developments to accomplish specific objectives Conduct research to identify novel techniques, approaches, and tools to accomplish specific tasks, often for one-off purposes Provide support to product end-users Utilize standard configuration management and bug reporting systems Perform software product analyses and reverse engineering Qualifications You'd be a great fit if You've obtained a BS degree and have eight (8) years of relevant experience. However, equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree You're experienced with some or all of the following: Developing software for desktop computers running Windows Windows internals Developing drivers C, C++, C#, and assembly/shellcode OS security Malware techniques, defenses, and detection avoidance Operating system virtualization products such as VMWare Performing software analysis and reverse engineering including use of tools such as WinDbg and IDA Pro You have a current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph It would be even better if you Have a detail-oriented personality Are able to multi-task in a dynamic environment driven by external demands Can work independently with little to no technical guidance Actively participate in the Cyber Security community and have attended Black Hat or DEF CON What you'll get An immediately-vested 401(K) with employer matching Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Tuition assistance, financing, and refinancing Company-paid infertility treatments Cross-training and professional development opportunities Influence major initiatives *This position requires the candidate to have a current Top Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
