The company is looking to expand the salesforce. Responsibilities / DutiesResearching, identifying, and developing meaningful customer relationships within the Maryland, DC, and northern Virginia area.Handling day-to-day sales related duties such as account maintenance, new business development, problem solving within the territory and engaging the sales management team as required for support and guidanceGrowing top line sales revenue / volumeBuilding and strengthening customer relationships at all levels through regular direct activities with accounts and participation in industry eventsOwning the sales pipeline for assigned accountsProviding accurate and timely reporting of monthly sales resultsManaging complex sales cycles and presenting the value of our partners' solutions over many different applications to key decision makersForecasting sales activity and revenue achievement, while creating satisfied and repeatable customersManaging CRM dataImproving productivity by evaluating and implementing sales technologyHelping sales leaders make data-driven decisionsWorking with marketing to further enable salespeopleSkills / Minimum Requirements4-year Electrical Engineering Degree required2+ years' experience in an electrical engineering field (Recent grads are encouraged to apply.)Entrepreneurial mindsetStrong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft OfficeStrong verbal and written communications skillsOrganizedFocused and excellent at follow-up, will persevereHigh interpersonal dynamicsStrong time management skillsThis job is located in Jessup, MD, with local travel eventually required. Training may take place in the NY office (Jericho, NY).
