Overview Peraton is looking for a well-rounded Senior Software Engineer (SSE) with strong experience in AMX conference room controller programming. The candidate will support multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, designing, creating and maintaining conference room control systems. This role supports multiple environments such as but not limited to Development, Test and Production. The candidate will work with an engineering team contributing to application development and operations achieving a state-of-the-art environment that meets current and future operational program goals. Responsibilities What you'll do You will participate in documenting and maintaining operations, network development, and maintenance processes and procedures You will participate in engineering and project reviews providing critical analysis comments You will support AV programming, audio DSP design, communications, data, and control systems with existing and new AV control systems You will develop the user interface and AMX control system code for AV/VTC systems You will perform installation, configuration, and maintenance for conference room controllers You will be responsible for the troubleshooting of hardware cabling and components related to interfaces controlled by touch panel programming You will maintain program version control and adhere to configuration management Qualifications You'd be great if You have an Associate degree or certification from an accredited university in Computer Science or similar discipline You have 5+ years of programming experience in an advanced language (JAVA, Visual Basic, C++, XML, NET and VB.NET) You have 2 years of audio-visual technology experience You have 2 years programming in AMX or Crestron You have completed basic training in AMX Programmer I & II training courses You have the ability to program touch panels based upon given engineering designs, "build to", and customer requirements documentation You have experience in GUI and general graphic design skills for conference room control systems using AV components such as Clear One and Extron You Have proven ability to maintain program version control and adhere to configuration management You have the ability to troubleshoot hardware cabling and components in addition to touch panel programming You have an IAT Level II 8570 certification - Security + Certification You possess an Active Top Secret Clearance It would be even better if you You have a BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Electrical/Engineering technology You have completed an AMX Programmer III training course completion You have a Certification in AMX/CRESTRON?
