Energy Management Analyst, Lead
Key Role:

Provide oversight and management of administrative, writing and editing, and budget analysis support related to DoD programs, including energy development laws and policies, impact assessments, installation encroachment management, and planning to address expanding wind and off-shore oil and gas energy infrastructure. Assist action officers by managing workflow in the correspondence and task management system to complete end-to-end task and correspondence collaboration among different organizations within the DoD, make corrections, and return correspondence packages to originator for correction, as needed. Act as an alternate office work flow manager responsible for tracking office projects to ensure timely completion. Assist with reviewing administrative and financial packages, input packages into tracking systems, follow records management procedures, and track the progress of packages, program commitments, obligations, and expenditures. Support engagement efforts to other government agencies, including the scheduling of required meetings and preparing associated background papers and briefings, with necessary post-meeting follow up. Analyze the development of reports, analyses, management plans and strategies, briefings, office communications, read-ahead packages, responses to external inquiries, standard operating procedures, Web site content, milestone plans and tracking, evaluations of program schedules, and deliverables tracking. Work closely with budget action officers to support the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, complete financial transactions, interface with personnel to coordinate meetings, maintain records and files, provide end-user support, and perform general administrative duties.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with supporting DoD programs
-Experience in working with a task management system
-Experience with Microsoft Office

-Knowledge of the structure and missions of DoD components
-Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
-Ability to schedule and coordinate meetings and schedules for executives and facilities
-Ability to assist with the preparation of presentations
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of wind and off-shore oil and gas energy laws, regulations, and policy

-Knowledge of wind and off-shore oil and gas energy infrastructure, radar, and aviation technologies
-Ability to work on multiple projects, multi-task, manage time effectively, and demonstrate flexibility in responding to conflicting deadlines and priorities
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and analytical skills
-BA or BS degree in Science, Engineering, Energy Policy, or a related field preferred
