Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a technical Salesforce Admin to support a Federal Government client at our Washington, DC location.

Responsibilities
  • Hands-on, project-based Salesforce configuration and customizations that aim to modernize product and service delivery to agency customers.
  • Partner with Business Analysts to design and configure client solutions.
  • Provide problem solving and technical skills to effectively design quality solutions.
  • Participate in the testing and deployment of day-to-day and project-based configuration changes.
  • Work with internal clients to understand their needs, identify the problem and direct them to the proper solution.
  • Support change management process to implement new as well as update existing applications.
  • Independently review requests and troubleshoot issues to understand technical deficiencies of the product, define root causes, and implement proactive resolution design or solution.
  • Prioritize tasks, identify trends, and manage an escalation process including status updates to management and inter


Required Qualifications
  • Current Salesforce Certification (ADM 201) required, ADM 211 and/or other certifications a plus
  • 3+ years Salesforce Administrator experience, preferably in a consulting or high-growth environment
  • Prior experience in Salesforce development including user & profile creation, permission sets, sharing settings, approval process implementation, report & dashboard creation, and data import and export
  • Proven experience designing, developing, testing, releasing, and maintaining complex workflows rules, validation rules, formulas, lightning flow builder, process builder, page layouts, custom fields/objects, and other Salesforce customizations
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning and configuring Lightning components
  • Understanding of relational databases and concepts
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of consulting, business analysis or product management experience


Desired Qualifications
  • Persuasive communication style to support adoption of Salesforce solutions and transition from legacy platforms
  • Business analysis skills, including requirements gathering and creating/deploying solutions to end users
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to engage all levels of staff to develop ideas and strategies and turn them into tactics and actions
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member
  • Prior experience in project management is extremely beneficial
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects with competing deadlines
  • Project estimation and management skills
  • Previous experience with a government client
