Senior Staff and Project Engineer - Water Resources (0 to 5 Years’ Experience)

GORDON, a multi-disciplinary firm of design professionals with the common goal of providing creative design solutions to today’s challenging environment, is seeking a Water Resources Senior Staff and Project Engineer with 0-5 years of experience to join our team. Successful candidates will possess strong mathematical/analytical skills, an ability to multi-task, and will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates will design a variety of stormwater facilities; such as bioretentions, green roofs, permeable pavements, stormwater ponds and underground detention facilities. Additionally, candidates will have the opportunity to prepare watershed studies, floodplain studies, and evaluate state regulated impoundment structures for compliance with state regulations. Candidates working on a variety of water resources projects will also have an opportunity to gain general civil/land development experience.

Our staff of Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, Planners, Security Consultants, and Surveyors work together in an enjoyable work atmosphere where the employees’ goals are as important as the corporate goals. Eligible candidates will work on exciting, once in a lifetime projects of enormous scale.  The work includes mixed-use projects that involve very exciting design opportunities.

Candidates should have course work in hydraulics, hydrology, civil engineering, and infrastructure design. Minimum requirements include B.S degree in civil engineering and strong Civil 3d/AutoCAD skills. EIT preferred. Previous internship experience a plus.
