Key Role

Envision, imagine, and execute how Booz Allen engages in external industry events by leading our events team. Help us to strategize which events the firm should participate in, shape our presence, including goals and content for our portfolio of events, and measure our return on investment. Work on a highly-collaborative cross-functional team to leverage marketing, media, data analytics, and digital assets and apply expertise in the business to create engaging and interactive end-to-end event experiences. Maintain responsibility for leading Booz Allen's largest event activations as a senior event producer, manage a team of events experts to evolve our approach toward more strategic marketing and business engines, and develop do-it-yourself guides and tools to enable the management of smaller scale events.

Basic Qualification:

-10 years of experience with planning high-visibility events ranging in size from intimate receptions to large-scale, multi-day conferences

-Experience as an event's project manager, owning the strategy, logistics, budget, and overall management for all assigned events

-Experience with generating and nurturing leads through a mix of tactics and developing plans to drive and use technologies to track prospects through a demand funnel

-Ability to operate across an organization to build relationships to work with and influence a diverse community of stakeholders at various levels of seniority

-Ability to create event experiences with meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational expertise, to deliver measurable marketing results

-Ability to be flexible, manage complex and fast-changing program elements, concurrent events, and prioritize effectively in response

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with managing budgets and developing effective return on investment metrics

-Experience with running events for a B2B or B2G organization

-Ability to work individually and in a collaborative team environment

-Ability to multitask across multiple projects to effectively manage priorities

-Ability to conduct the RFP process, vendor selection, and vendor management

-Possession of excellent strategic thinking skills with an insatiable thirst for learning about and educating others on the latest event tools, processes, and best practices

-MA, MS, or MBA degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Digital Marketing

-Event Management, Marketing, or Digital Marketing Certification
