Cybersecurity Engineer, Mid
Key Role:

Perform as an electrical, systems, or network engineer with a thorough grasp of DoD and Department of Navy (DoN) Cybersecurity policies and leverage experience with supporting acquisition programs. Use an engineering skillset to develop solutions to the Navy customer's complex Cyber concerns. Provide technical and policy recommendations to advise senior government officials to ensure Navy programs support mission critical operations and deliver required Cybersecurity functionality. Provide support to senior government officials, including meeting material development, representing the organization at senior-level meetings, and tracking tasker status through completion. Provide limited oversight to both government and contractor employees.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with systems engineering or software development life cycle

-2 years of experience with computer networking or networking technologies

-Experience with developing senior-level communication products

-Knowledge of DoD and DoN acquisition and Cyber policies

-Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) special publications

-Ability to provide clear and concise written communication suitable for senior executives

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with developing Cybersecurity policy and strategy

-Experience with hardening computer systems and networks against attacks

-Knowledge of Navy Combat Control Systems

-Top Secret clearance preferred

-DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification or higher
