If you possess a strong financial aptitude and robust analytical skills and passionate about being detail oriented, apply to join the Debt Accounting team within Freddie Mac's Investment and Capital Market Segment Controller group as a Financial Controller Professional. You will be responsible for the monthly and quarterly financial close execution and financial result analysis for debt and hedging transactions.

Your Work Will Fall into One Primary Category:

  • Prepare journal entries for GAAP and segment purpose
  • Prepare reconciliation and monthly data validation for debt and hedge accounting
  • Analyze the financial impact on debt/hedge accounting from interest rate changes

Project Management
  • Help managing risks, controls, Internal Audits and other ad hoc requests
  • Work with IT and change management team to resolve data issue as well as system enhancement
  • Prepare and support disclosures for external reporting e.g. 10K/10Q & FHFA


  • Bachelors degree required. Concentration in Finance, Accounting or related degree
  • At least 2-4 years of financial analysis, accounting or reporting work experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP financial accounting and reporting concepts
