Responsibilities

  • Serves as team lead overseeing 4 business management personnel to achieve work results based on priority, skill requirements, and level of difficulty in a manner that increases the quality of work products.
  • Performs analysis, evaluation, and oversight of all aspects of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution of major Program Management programs.
  • Manages requirements and resources to accomplish short, mid, and long term planning and financial resourcing efforts.
  • Directs the planning, programming, budgeting, coordination, and execution of financial management functions within organization.
  • Prepares Congressional budget justifications (P&R Forms) and program spend plans.
  • Prepares execution and other financial reports for higher echelons ensuring all critical information is communicated on a regular basis.
  • Provides advice, guidance, and training to other team members on financial policy and procedures.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: (1) Managing the Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution (PPBE) process; (2) Preparing Congressional budget justifications (P&R Forms) and/or preparing spend plans; (3) Advising program managers and management officials on the budget guidelines for their organization; and, (4) Making recommendations regarding programmatic policy formulation and execution. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03.
