Summary

You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist at the GG-13 grade level providing technical advice on a wide range of complex analysis, evaluation, collection, interpretation, or dissemination of information and/or products relative to and assigned area(s) on political, economic, social, cultural, physical, geographic, technical or military conditions for one or more foreign countries.

Responsibilities

  • You will conduct unique classified intelligence collection and research that has influential impact on research and development.
  • You will serve as the subject matter expert in tactical collection of foreign military command, control, and communications.
  • You will produce highly-tailored reports of potentially hostile threats that are used to direct program spending.
  • You will provide technical and intelligence advice on planning and execution of real-world collection opportunities and objectives.

  • You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain access to the National Security Agency/US Cyber Command facilities and networks based on an additional security screening process. Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:
  • Producing highly-tailored intelligence reports of potentially hostile threats that are used to direct program spending.
  • Serving as the subject matter expert in tactical collection of foreign military command, control, and communication.
  • Providing technical and intelligence advice on planning and execution of real-world collection opportunities and objectives.
  • Performing intelligence analysis, collection and production tasks for the command.
