The Supervisory Public Affairs Specialist is located in the Digital Services Division within the Office of Communications. Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the release of electronic and other multimedia programmatic information of NASA mission, activities, and functions to the general public and media organizations.

Qualifications

Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-14), which has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above.

Specialized experience is defined as:

1.) Leads in the planning and implementation of the production and distribution of agency/organization related content and information across multiple digital platforms;

2.) Provides technical direction for multimedia and digital policies within a company/organization;

3.) Manages, directs, and plans agency/organization wide activities for public affairs programs, campaigns, projects or studies.

Additional information

Current Federal employees must meet time in grade and three months after competitive appointment restrictions by the closing date of the announcement.
