Paragon Gene Therapy, in Baltimore & Harmans, Maryland, provides industry-leading GMP development and manufacturing services for cutting-edge biopharmaceuticals such as recombinant viral vectors, next generation vaccines & hard-to-express recombinant proteins and oncolytic viruses. The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide detailed forecasting for revenues, capital expenditures, and operating expenses, ensuring our financial planning is healthy and profitable and aligns with business objectives. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and maintain financial models through benchmarking and process analysis Forecast quarterly and annual profits Prepare cost projections and track capital expenditures Analyze and report on current financial status Conduct thorough research of historical financial data Coordinate with the executive team on long-term financial planning Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement Participate in budgeting (for departments and projects) Review accounting transactions for data accuracy Establish financial policies around budgeting process and reporting Maintain confidentiality of financial information Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in a Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting field; MBA a plus 3 years' experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role Hands-on experience with financial planning software, such as Hyperion (HFM), Cognos, Adaptive Planning Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas) Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP); JD Edwards a plus Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts Paragon Bioservices is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
