Flexicell, a Pearson Packaging Systems Company, helps high volume manufacturers and distributors primarily in the food and beverage industry to automate their secondary packaging processes. As a pioneer in its field, Flexicell has extensive expertise in the design, manufacture and integration of robotic solutions for picking, packing and palletizing applications. As part of Pearson Packaging Systems, Flexicell supports the entire end-of-line including erecting, packing, sealing, palletizing and full line integration. The Electrical Mechanical Technician will have a solid knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment design and manufacture and be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures as related to automated packaging machinery. Principal responsibilities: Assemble electrical and mechanical equipment on time, on budget, and with requested specifications Install and provide technical support of PLC/HMI/Motion Control and robotic programming and updates Direct and perform factory acceptance test (FAT) activities Troubleshoot problems occurring during development, assembly, testing, or commissioning of machinery Provide in-field and phone support for Service-related activities Up to 25% travel required as needed to fulfill responsibilities Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Two years' experience in mechatronics, automation, or electrical programming preferred One year machine building experience preferred Demonstrated electrical/mechanical assembly skills Ability to interpret and update specification documents Experienced in performing Quality Assurance for electrical/mechanical assembly Benefits Base salary + performance-based incentives Earning potential DOE Top-tier benefit plan including Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, EAP 401K with matching contributions SDL2017
