Dominion National, a leading provider of dental and vision benefits in the Mid-Atlantic area, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Representative. The HR Representative maintains a high level of confidentiality and integrity while providing administrative support to the Human Resources department, with a focus on coordinating recruiting related activities, on boarding of new employees and maintenance of employee records. Work involves assisting with implementing policies and programs related to human resources including recruiting, company policies and procedures, benefits, employee relations and legal compliance under the direction of the HR leadership team. The individual in this role will create and maintain job postings, tracking of applicants, and coordinate applicant screening, interviews and communication throughout the recruitment process; prepare offer letters and other on-boarding communications as required; assist with new hire on-boarding to include but not limited to assemble new employee packets, conduct new hire orientation, schedule new hire training, collect new employee paperwork and set up new employee folders; complete I-9 E-verify in accordance with state and federal laws, process timely recertification, and complete I-9 audits; provide Human Resources support to include but not limited to processing new hires, status changes, terminations, unemployment, employee benefits and policy change communications; assist with special projects (open enrollment, annual increases, evaluations, wellness programs, HR intranet maintenance); assist with benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, reconciliation of vendor invoices for payment, and answering employee benefit questions; assist with Worker's Compensation claims and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
